Pressotherapy Lymphatic Massage

What is Pressotherapy?

Pressotherapy lymphatic massage using the Zemits Sisley 2.0 NG is a non-invasive treatment that uses 24 chambers of air compression in an advanced compression suit, to stimulate lymphatic drainage and to boost blood circulation.

Pressotherapy air compression therapy is safe, enjoyable, painless, and suitable for ages + 18 and up.

Pressotherapy works by acting on the deep layers of the dermis, blood vessels and lymphatic system. During the treatment, the gentle massage movements are thought to normalise metabolic processes within the body.  The treatment cleanses the body of toxins that enter the lymph, which are then excreted via the kidneys.

Pressotherapy results:

  • Reduction of puffiness and feeling of heaviness.
  • Successful rehabilitation after plastic and surgical procedures.
  • Reduction of cellulite and “orange peel”, improving skin texture.
  • A reduction in the level of toxins in the body causes improved well-being.
  • Prevention of varicose veins.
  • Body toning.
  • Stimulation of blood and lymph circulation.
  • Weight-loss
  • Improvement of skin tone.
  • Relaxation and relief of muscle cramp

The pressotherapy system Zemits Sisley 2.0 effectively addresses:

  • Water retention
  • Cellulite of various stages.
  • Heaviness in the legs.
  • Excess weight and fat deposits.
  • Poor skin texture.

What should I expect?

A free consultation to determine whether Pressotherapy is suitable for you is carried out, although there are very few contraindications.

For the treatment itself, you will be asked to wear a disposable suit or you will be advised to bring a clean pair of leggings or soft material trousers and a t-shirt.

You are helped into the advanced compression suit.  The compression suit has seven garments for feet, legs, waist, and arms around the treated body areas.  You will be lying comfortably on a therapy bed.

There are 4 different levels of intensity and the therapist will ascertain which ones are comfortable and suitable for you.

Then you just relax whilst the Pressotherapy machine gently massages your body, starting from your feet and moving up the body.  A full session takes up to 45 minutes.

Post Treatment

After the treatment it is not recommended to eat and you should avoid active physical activities for an hour. After this time, you can return to your daily activities.

How many Sessions will I need?

The number of sessions depends on the issues a client is experiencing.  On average, the number of sessions is between 10 and 15, with a break of 2 – 4 days in between each session.

The break is necessary so that the body can adapt to the beneficial changes promoted by Pressotherapy.  After the course of treatments is complete, a maintenance session is recommended once a month.
