Terry qualified as a Sports masseur in 1995 and then became a hypnotherapist in 1997, working in the Wigan area.
Terry has worked with sports men and woman since 1999 when he began to specialise in Sports Hypnosis. He has worked with a number of Football and Rugby League clubs including:
- Halifax town FC
- Stoke City FC
- Leeds Rhino’s
- Leigh Centurians
before moving to Cape Town, South Africa where he worked as a hypnotherapist in a doctors surgery in Kennilworth from 2006 – 2009. Here he worked with the general public and the South African rugby team.
Terry started doing Reiki in 2004. He also practised Reiki in Cape Town until he returned to the UK in 2009 where became a Reiki Master. He is happy to offer training in Reiki at the LEAF Health Llandudno clinic.
For over 54 years, Terry has practiced different forms of martials arts. 8th Dan, he currently practices Ju-jitsu and is the head of the Shinpi Izumi Dojo in the UK www.shinpiizumidojo.co.uk. In this capacity, Terry has taught Ju-jitsu to students ranging from school children to doctors, as well as members of the South African Police. He also teaches at seminars around the world.
