Sarah  offers a safe and confidential space to explore client’s lives and the challenges they are facing.  Sarah is a qualified counsellor and a registered member of BACP.  Sarah has experience supporting clients who have mild to moderate anxiety, depression, generalised anxiety disorder, stress, work-related stress, loneliness, low confidence, low self-esteem, relationship issues and clients who have experienced bereavement and loss. Sarah has experience working as a freelance counsellor at a local wellbeing centre and has previously worked for a charity offering counselling and was also a former Samaritans volunteer.

Sarah offers the psychodynamic approach to counselling. This approach helps clients to become more aware of their emotions and bring the unconscious into consciousness and explores how current problems may be influenced by past experiences.

Sarah has an interest in meditation and mindfulness as she believes that being aware of the present moment, our thoughts and feelings can calm our minds and help us to be more self-aware.

Sarah attends regular CPD workshops, seminars and webinars to ensure her knowledge and skills are kept up to date. She recently studied working with shame and is currently studying Dissociation and Dissociative Identity Disorder.”

How to book an appointment

Sarah offers an initial first session either face to face, online using zoom or over the telephone and this will include an assessment and a discussion as to whether your personal needs would be more suited to short-term or long-term counselling.  Please contact Sarah on 07585 685453 or email [email protected] to arrange an initial session.
