Lauren is a trauma-informed, somatic therapist and coach with a particular drive for supporting people with all things connection.
Whether this is a deeper understanding of what our body is trying to tell us, how to build a meaningful relationship with another person or building a deep connection with the seasons and the land, there are many ways Lauren can support.

Lauren offers sessions both in person and online.

Somatic Therapy

As a disabled neurodivergent person, Laurens particular specialism is in helping newly diagnosed neurodivergent people to come to terms with their diagnosis. If this is you, she can help you to peel back the layers of neurotypical conditioning to help you to find confidence and peace with who you’ve been all along. She also combines this with coaching modalities to help you to implement a new strategy to work with your neurodivergent brain. This will help you to feel more in control and less overwhelmed.

She also supports people with long term chronic health conditions like M.E. and fibromyalgia to gently shift any stored trauma which may be exacerbating their symptoms and work with their nervous system to improve energy levels.

Love and Dating Coaching

As a love and dating coach, Lauren follows a range of evidence backed modalities to help you to find your person. Coaching is given over a series of 6 to 12 sessions to set you up for success with a 30 minute introductory session to see if this is right for you. It is particularly great if you have been on the dating scene for a while, are looking for a long-term connection but aren’t seeing results. Also if you are new to dating and want to set yourself up for success so that you don’t waste months or even years on the wrong people.

Burn Out Coaching for Women

Specialising in energy management around the menstrual cycle and menopause, Lauren supports any one who experiences female hormone changes to understand the needs of their body at different times of month and life. Women are 4 times more likely to develop an autoimmune condition and this is partly due to the stress of a workplace that was designed for men’s hormone changes and not women’s.

Lauren helps you to reprioritise work and home life and set up systems and structures that work for your body instead of against it, helping you to move gently away from burnout towards more flow.

Sometimes Lauren will also recommend you do this work alongside a nutritional therapist or functional doctor if she suspects deeper issues at play.

Finding what works for you

If the themes of Lauren’s approach appeal to you but you aren’t sure which direction to go or would like to see if the therapy she offers can support you with your particular challenge, please arrange a complimentary call from the website bookings page:

Website: www.onewildlife.co.uk

Email: lauren@onewildlife.co.uk

Social Media: @onewildlifecoachwales

[7818,7820,7816,5319
43

Lauren Wood -
