Yn ystod y cyfnod hwnnw mae hi wedi ymarfer a gweithio o fewn y GIG, Llywodraeth Leol ac Asiantaethau'r Sector Gwirfoddol. Mae hi wedi treulio bron i 20 mlynedd yn gweithio gydag unigolion sydd fwyaf agored i niwed, gan gynnwys y rhai mewn gwasanaethau dibyniaeth ac ar unedau gofal dwys. Daeth y gwaith hwn \u00e2 hi i gysylltiad \u00e2 llawer o unigolion a oedd wedi profi trawma\/cam-drin ac mae hi wedi ymgymryd \u00e2 hyfforddiant ychwanegol wedi hynny, gan ei chyfarparu i gael amrywiaeth o sgiliau i weithio gydag effaith profiadau trawmatig. Fel uwch reolwr a chomisiynydd gwasanaethau, gweithiodd Sue o fewn strwythurau sefydliadol cymhleth ac mae ei chymhwyster Meistr o Goleg Birkbeck, UCL, yn seiliedig ar theori systemau\/therapi teuluol. Mae hyn, ochr yn ochr \u00e2'i chymwysterau cwnsela a seicotherapi, yn llywio ei gwaith gydag unigolion, cyplau, grwpiau a sefydliadau. Ar ben hynny mae hi wedi hyfforddi mewn Therapi Gwybyddol Seiliedig ar Ymwybyddiaeth Ofalgar ac mae'n hapus i drafod cyflwyno hyn ar sail unigol neu gr\u0175p.     \n\nMae hi'n credu y gall unigolion geisio a dod o hyd i'w hatebion eu hunain o gael y cyfle i ymgysylltu mewn perthynas therapiwtig gefnogol, ofalgar a diogel.
