\u201cAt first I was very sceptical about the treatment but have recently had surgery for deque vain tenosynovitis and a trapped radial nerve on my arm.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This had left me in excruciating pain. The surgeon had initially given me 8 weeks off with a big possibility of it being 12 weeks given that I had 2 surgeries on the same arm and the job that requires heavy lifting.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Bear in mind I wasn't allowed to lift anything over 1kg for 4 to 6 weeks and wasn't allowed to drive.<\/span><\/p>\n

I have now completed 6 sessions in 2 weeks, and it has made a remarkable difference. I am now 4 weeks post operation.<\/span><\/p>\n

I have had an appointment with the hand therapist in hospital and they were absolutely speechless about how I have healed. I was only supposed to be doing thumb exercises until now, but I can already lift my 3-year-old son and my new-born without pain.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

They checked my grip strength on both hands. My right hand (I\u2019m right-handed) scored 46, and my operated left scored a 48. The therapist was astounded, as was I! The next appointments\u2026 has now been cancelled and I have been given 3 months on the system for me to call if there is any issues.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

There is nothing for me to do other than scar massages and to exercise to strengthen my arm. I had somehow skipped his planned exercises and got to a point that I might have got to in 3+ weeks\u2019 time! If not longer. That\u2019s got to mean something right?<\/span><\/p>\n

I strongly believe without HBOT sessions, I would still be in pain and at this moment in time still not able to lift anything over 1kg. But I can lift, drive and have my life back 4 weeks after surgery. I am now looking to go back to work on the 5th week post operation. I never thought I would be able to say that.<\/span><\/p>\n

For anyone who has doubts about Hyperbaric oxygen therapy, please give it a try. Just remember that you might need more sessions to feel the benefit as did I.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI'd been to a dentist to get an implant in the back of the upper jaw. It took a fair bit of work, getting the metal part fitted. I recall taking a pain killer during the journey back to keep it under control as the anaesthetic wore off, but even then, there was some discomfort.<\/div>\n
